Thixo Casting

Thixo casting is a metal mold casting method in which billets heated to a semi-molten state are formed in a metal mold at low speed and low pressure. We have developed a metal/sand hybrid-mold technology that utilizes a property of very good molten metal flow and our core technology as a sand mold aluminum casting manufacturer.

Material Development

We have developed AsG-1, a casting material with a thermal conductivity more than twice that of conventional die-casting materials.The thixocasting feature of high flowability enables longer pins and fins to secure a larger heat-dissipating area, thus providing sufficient heat dissipation.
